Default Quirk After Battery change

Thought this was odd. Had to replace a two year old Delphi today and to reset each window (halfway down, then up and hold for a second after close). I mean open each door and do the routine. Right there in the manual.

Clock reset after a couple of seconds and Homelink still works.

I posted in another part of the forum, but my dealer (100 miles away) told me to get another battery and send them the bill, rather than make the trip.

Lexus customer service, to me, is the benchmark and once again I`m impressed.

You are going to have to re-set the sun roof also.

The procedure is in the manual. If you don't do the re-set, the "one touch" open and close will not work.

When you disconnect the battery, you have to re-initialize the power windows, moonroof, power back door, and compass.
