Default rx350/330 modifications

we just purchased a rx350 and really like it so far. we traded in a v8 touareg which was a great suv but had a lot of issues. so far, we really like the ride of the rx and the comfort. the quality of the interior is superior to the touareg. the only thing i miss about the touareg is nothing. we will never buy a vw ever again.

anyways, i am interested in possibly getting some rims and headrest monitors. id like to hear about your experiences and see some pics.
lets see those modded rx's.

Congrats. I also just bought the RX350. Do you have the factory 18 inch rims right now? If you are interesting in selling them with the tires (and they're pretty new), I'd be happy to take them off your hands.

Default Modded RX330

Congrats on the purchase.

Although I love the smooth, quiet ride of the RX, I felt that the car was top-heavy and swayed too much when driving on curves. Further, I wish this car had a little more...go-power. I know its a luxury-suv...but you cannot compare this (in a race) against an X5, Cayenne, FX. I hope they are going to come out with a RX430.

In any case...these are some mods I have done so far:

1. (20 x 8.5) Prussian Blue Juno Lux wheels (Made specifically for Lexus)
2. Team Toyota Europe (TTE) springs (Made for the stock shocks) dropped the car about 1.5 inches
3. Monitors in the headrests with matching wood-grain around the edges of the monitors
4. Soundgate (Vaistech) iPod Integration to the OEM system (Steering wheel controls, text display, direct audio-feed)
5. Soundgate Line Output converter to add an amplifier (Kicker) and Infinity Sub-woofer - Toggle switch was added to power the amp since the factory system does not have a line-power...factory amplifier is powered through the speaker wires
6. Tinted windows for the Driver and Passenger-front windows to match factory tint all the way around.
7. Toyota "Harrier" emblem replaced the "L" badge in the front grill.
8. "Harrier" bumper guard to replace the read "LEXUS" bumper guard.
9. DVD player bolted under the driver seat with a remote sensor installed above the rear-view mirror.
10. Swapped the factory parking lights with Hyper-white / Blue

thats it so far.

nice. the rx350 is actually faster than the regular cayenne and close to the cayenne s. its wierd though, because it doesnt feel like it since its so smooth and quiet. our touareg had some grunt and was fun to drive but it is not put together quite like the lex.

id love to see some pics of your ride.

Just chrome wheels so far. Can't seem to find anyone who sells all of the chrome that's available for the 330.
