rx350/330 modifications
Nice wheels, and very nice TV screens in the headrests, but hey!! You forgot to take those ugly stickers off the sun visors.
Easy to do with heat from a sunvisor, and results in a nice, clean look.
Nice color on that RX, also.
Well done.

Your RX looks real clean! I was just wondering, how big are your rims? Since you upgraded from the stock rims, do you feel a decrease in performance such as braking and accelerating? How is the ride as well? Thanks
The wood-trim around the monitors ended up matching almost exactly with the rest of the interior factory woodtrim. The monitors are hooked up to the Vaistech module through the dvd player, so the Aux1 option on the OEM head unit plays audio through all the speakers.

I feel that the performance is same in terms of accelerating / braking, but hands-down better in handling. The top-heavy feel has subsided greatly. I am definitely happy with the car now. The ride is little stiffer, but with how it handles curves now, its worth it. As quiet as it used to be...have goodyears on these wheels.
The other aspect that I am happy with is the wider stance. I didn't take a picture of the car from a rear-view, but since the wheels / tires are an inch wider than the factory, it does give it a more aggressive look. It conveys better in person than in the pics.
I would have liked to go even wider, but it would start sticking out of the fenders, then cause rub, so I would have to roll the fenders, etc. This way, I didn't need spacers either...
I will take a picture of the tire / spring; its like a perfect fit.

VIN:
I used a pretty hot hair dryer (wear cotton gloves), and I think I also put some solvent (Goo-Gone, I think) on a terrycloth towel to further assist in breaking down the adhesive.
The side of the visor that faces you when the visor is stored in the up position is covered in a fuzzy fabric of some sort, and the sticker comes off pretty easily. The slower you go the less trauma you cause to the texture of the fabric facing, and when the sticker is off there will be no trace of it. If you rip it off too fast, you will rip off some of the fuzz. [Insert your own band-aid or bikini wax analogy here.]
The sticker on the hard plastic on the other side is a different story. I have tried everything (well, obviously not everything), including several different solvents and heat, and nothing seems to work. I eventually just gave up, since I hardly ever see them anyway.
Maybe someday I will find a way to get those off of there. Whatever I did to get them off the visors on my SC does not work on these newer ones.

thats what im talking about.
those monitors look huge. what size are they? did you replace the headrests because your headrests look a shade darker than the stock leather. what brand are they?

You're right that the color of the headrests have a different tone...I kept them like that since the car has a couple different tones of gray...it matches the same tone as the pillars. it gives it a nice contrast for the seats, like a two-tone look.
With the roads around here, I would have messed up the wheels and ride if I got 22s.

Thanks, Yeah, I like the clean look. Besides, if I can confuse one or two people about what kind of car it is, I find it a little amusing. People who know cars will know what kind of car it is. I found an emblem that replaces the L badge on the back of the car with an "X" on lextasy (same chrome look with the circle around it). I definitely dont want to take it off and leave nothing because its indented where the badge goes.
I find it a little tacky when people have indents and holes where the emblems used to be.
I appreciate that you guys noticed the details

Vin - I was happened to surfing the Lexus Hong Kong site. There is a new Lexus grill on their menu. It has the "L" logo but it has the horizontal lines instead of vertical like ours. They also have a new tail light design. It has the red-out design (not black-out or chrome surrounding).
