Default Re-Learn New TPMS Tire Sensors

Hi All:
I was wondering if there is a manual way to have the RX400h (2008) re-learn the ID# of a newly installed TPMS Sensor.? I need one replaced in my Spare tire.
The reason I am asking is that both the local tire dealer and Lexus dealer want $100 - $150 per tire ( not including demount).and say a Tool is needed to enter the new ID number of the sensor into the car via OBD port.
Unfortunately that is outside of my budget.
I see that the Denso part on Rock Auto is $36 bucks and I can break the bead and install on the spare I am replacing myself - so I was hoping I could do it myself somehow without the tool. Is that even possible on a 2008 RX400H?
Marc

Thanks in advance for any insight. Google search was not helping.

(My GMC can do it by using the TPMS button and then deflating and inflating tires in sequence).

I've had 3 tpms replaced at Discount tire & they reset the the sensors. All I did was pay for the new sensors.

Discount Tire should be @$90 for the part and reprogramming each tire. call and verify. I just paid $20 flat rate to have a spare tire removed and a tire I bought elsewhere remounted/balanced but there was not TPMS involved that was a Les Schwabb Tires here in Boise. NEVER go to the dealership for any out of warranty work unless it is someone else paying the tab there "real" labor rate is usually >$400/hour the posted rate is in the $140/range but actual labor rate is >$400

Perhaps this might hlep you - I bought the Techstream adaptor from Amazon I believe it came with the software which I loaded and run on my Windows 10 laptop. For @$30 it is amazing! It did take some time for me to get it properly loaded but very well worth it.

Carista app with most cheap OBDII can do it. I think there may be a 3-day free trial for Carista.

The sensors sound like a nice feature but I'm glad I don't have them on my Rx330.

One less thing to worry about. Lol

Are you sure about that? I had a carista back in the day for my 14 IS350 and i definitely could not program new TPMS sensors. This was about 7 years ago though.
