I've been quoted $41,800 for a 2007 Lexus RX 350 FWD Premium Plus Package with Navigation. MSRP for this vehicle is $45,023. I've also been told by other dealers that they can beat this price, but I have not gotten a solid number yet.

Let me know how much you get your 350 for and the MSRP of your vehicle. Thanks.

hey... we are on the same boat...
basically:

Navigation System with Rear View Camera, Bluetooth, Voice Activation and Compass
18" Aluminum Alloy Wheels with 235/55R18 Tires and Full Size Spare Tire
Two-Level Heated Front Seats with Rain Sensing Wipers and Headlamp Washers
Premium Plus Package includes Premium Package and HID Headlamps with AFS
Cargo Mat
Wheel Locks
MSRP: $45,023.00

CURRENT INTERNET SALES PRICE: $41,987.00

Everyone is willing to match this, and it's about ~$2000 over invoice...
I'll bite if anyone offers me $1500 over invoice... if we could work up a 2 car purchase.. u and me...

What site can I goto to get the INVOICE price?

Kelley Blue Book, http://www.kbb.com, is finally showing invoice prices.
Edmunds, http://www.edmunds.com, still doesn't have them.
(Of course, they have the same info.)

For a typical config in the Midwest:
AWD, Premium Plus (PT), Towing Pkg (TO), Heated Seats w/Rain-Sensing Wipers (HH), Wheel Locks and Cargo Mat (Port-Installed Options)
MSRP = $43438
Invoice = $38156
Difference = $5282

Add the navi (the option, not the package with ML audio), and MSRP jumps to $46088, invoice $40381 (difference $5707). ML adds another $1480 MSRP, $1116 invoice.

That's about the same profit margin as the RX300 and 330.

joedaddy1,

can you tell me where to find the RX350 at that price? I haven't been able to find much off MSRP.

What is the invoice price? I think it's better if you state how much off MSRP you can get because not many people know what the invoice price is but the MSRP is easily availabe.

b1gredek,

How much can you get the 07 RX 350 FWD with $6,928 in options?

Base Price = $37,400
Options = $6,928
Destination = $695
MSRP = $45,023

I've been quoted $41,800, which is 7.16% off MSRP, but I'm trying to purchase one at 40,900, which is 9.16% off MSRP. Do you think this can be done?

I know people who have gotten 15% off MSRP for 06 RX's this past month. Can I use this information to negotiate on the 350 or is the price pretty much set?

Thanks for your help!

Car dealers don't talk in terms of "percent off"... they work from their cost, which is invoice price. You can get the actual invoice price from KBB, so that's where you should be negotiating from. With invoice being roughly $5500 below MSRP, then your goal of 40,900 is probably about $1400 over invoice. You'll need to find out if dealers in your area are really selling 350's that close to invoice. According to b1gredek's prior post, that's feasible in his area. You'll have to see if your dealer is willing to go that low. The best way to find out is to make the dealer that offer, and to walk out of the dealership if they don't accept it.

The salesperson at longo lexus in ElMonte offered us 1500 over invoice for the rx350. I'm still holding off till it's 500 over invoice.
