Default chicago 330 prices

Hey All - My GF is thinking about picking up a new 330. Ideally, I'd rather she get one w/ navi, ultimately, it's all about the bottom line.
Anyway, does anyone in Chi have any insight on pricing for what a 330 SHOULD go for? We've gotten initial quotes at roughly 38K... I'm sure they're lowballing just to get us in the door.

Go to Woodfield Lexus, they should be willing to give you about $700 over invoice. They won't budge from that number, and most other dealers that I talked to thought that was crazy. We got the Premium Plus Package with Navigation. Sticker was 45,083. Paid about 40,500 or so maybe a litle more, before tax/title etc. Again, they'll show you the invoice price, and their best price should be about 700 over that. Just go in there, tell them you're ready to buy the car, and you want their bottomline.

best of luck!

My mom just bought a RX330 from Lexus of Naperville.
Premium package
6 CD changer
Heated seats

Sticker was $41,703.00, she paid $39,000 even plus title and plates
We don't pay sales tax, because my father is a foreign diplomat

Good to hear that people are getting deals out of Woodfield and Naperville. I had lost faith in both of those dealerships, as every time I've gone there in the past, they've both acted like they were doing me a gigantic favor by dropping $500 off of sticker price. Because of that, I've always laughed at them and walked out, and I've always purchased in Rockford. The folks in Rockford aren't so caught up in the "Lexus experience", and they're willing to deal to sell a car. Too many people in the Chicago area are willing to call and buy a car by phone for sticker price. (Where they get the money - who knows?!) The dealers don't need to deal - they've got plenty of business at full price.

I have to admit that Woodfield and Naperville are both beautiful new dealerships. The Woodfield location claims to be the largest Lexus dealer in the U.S. by square footage - they've got a parking deck for new car inventory! I also had a pretty positive experience with the service department in Naperville recently.

Although I live in the Washington Metropolitan Area, and not Chicago, hopefully my recent experience will help you. I just picked up my RX330 with Navigation, Premium Plus Pkg., Heated Front Seats w/Rain Sensing Wipers and Headlamp Washers, Trans. Cooler w/Heavy Duty Alternator and Radiator, Preferred Accessory Pkg., 18 inch wheels and 6-disc in-dash CD changer and paid $41,500 plus title and tags. I got it in Bamboo Pearl; I could have gotten it in blue or silver for $500 less. One dealer offered me the Thunder Cloud edition with same options for the $41.5K price.
