Hello,

Has anyone used the SOny Ericsson S710a Cingular with the Bluetooth function on their RX?
Is it 100% compatible and usable?

Anyone have a working bluetooth phone from Sprint ?

Sprint only has two Bluetooth phones, the Treo 650 and the LG 325. I have a Treo 650, and with the recent Sprint 1.12 update to the phone it works well with the RX 330.

Jayskinner - I will be purchasing a Treo 650 thru Sprint in the near future. I'm a bit unfamiliar with the functionality but what are the benefits of using the Treo via Bluetooth? In other words, what are you able to do with it in your RX330?

The '05 RX 330 with NAV has Bluetooth, and with the Treo 650, you can make and receive calls hands-free, using the stering wheel controls and NAV screen to initiate calls. You can transfer your contacts to the car phone book ( I set up a Quicklist and transferred that), and when someone in your Quicklist calls, the caller ID is displayed on the NAV screen.

It's also nice that the hands-free is fully integrated, muting the radio while you're using the phone. I also added SprintPCS Voice Command, which give mes voice dialing from the Treo. I dial * then hit the send button, and the Voice Command dude says "Ready." I then say "Call Dave at work" and the Sprint system connects me to that number. That feature is nice, since when the car is moving you can only use one-touch buttons on the NAV screen to dial. I have * programmed in the first one-touch button.

You can get more info about SprintPCS Voice Command and how to add that to your account and set it up from their website. And no, I don't work for them.
