does anyone have this problem? I have an rx330 with 15k miles, but when i start it up in the morning (i park outside) if i listen to it really carefeully, it sounds like it has a ticking sound.. like it needs a valve adjustment or something.. its not really loud but i can hear it inside of the car if i dont have the radio going on.... is that normal? at 15k miles??? does anyone have this problem too?

do you think i should bring it into the dealer and have it checked? is that under warranty?

There is a TSB for this. Mention this to your dealer.

i thought this was normal. it's a faint ticking, can only hear when i am parked with no radio on. a similar noise has been reported on V6 GS's: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=164215

The ticking is normal... every RX I've had has done it.
It seems to be caused by the fuel injectors, and the TSB is an attempt to lower the amount of noise.

Some RX330 owners have reported such noise. It is caused by the fuel injectors. It seems to be the norm for the RX330. My RX300 never had such noise, nor had I seen any reported here.
