I was at my dealer today talking about buying an 04 0r 05! He informed me the 05's will not have the perform.package option?? Any truth in this.


Undecided whether to get the Flint mica with Grey int. OR Black forest pearl with the Tan interior??


Anyone from Alaska on this board? The ONE and only dealer in AK and they will not Budge off of sticker, not to mention the $4,000 yes 4K markup on these 330's!! Insane

 

Welcome to Clublexus. The RX 400H will be advertised and marketed as a performance RX, with 270hp total with the gas and electric engines and 36mpg. Probably $4k over a regular AWD RX I assume.

THey will be here next Spring instead of next October.

 

I don't know if there's any truth to it or not, but it'd be a shame. I love the Perf. Pkg. on ours....

 

XZLR8: I like your choice of interior & exterior colors for your '04's! Any pics of your 330? I'd love to see it with the performance package.

 

I have some pictures of the SC posted in the Gallery section (called "XZLR8's SC430" or something similar), but I don't have any taken of the RX yet. I need to do that. Project for this weekend, maybe. I think the rims on the RX's Perf. Pkg. look great. Also, I tinted the front windows to match the standard tint on the back. It's a good look, if I do say so myself.

I see you're in Hawaii! Just returned from there last week after spending 10 glorious days in Kapalua, Maui. Oh, to live there, you lucky soul!

 

You can get those same rims (18") on the other packages as well. It wouldn't surprise me if Lexus is ONLY making the Performance Pkg available for special order and not just sending it out to the dealers for their allocation.

They're not sending out just the Prem Pkg anymore ... they're including it with the NAV.
