RX400H Power steering Problem
Hello everyone, I have a problem with my Lexus RX400h — specifically, the power steering is hard to turn when I rotate the steering wheel, and recently a situation happened like in the video: the steering wheel went crazy and started moving left and right on its own, over and over again. Does anyone know what could be causing this fault? Could it be the steering rack causing such problems? Has anyone experienced similar symptoms? Thanks in advance for your help.

Do you have a CEL or other warning lights? I don't know much about the electronic steering system on this model hopefully someone else does, steering rack is controlled by 89650-48010 a computer under the hood maybe this is failing.
Thanks for the tip. I’ll start working on it in about a week, as I’m currently away. I plan to check the parameters of the steering angle sensor and the torque sensor. I suspect that the issue may be with the torque sensor or the EPS module.
As for your question – yes, the CEL is on, but this is due to an incorrect air-fuel mixture caused by the LPG installation (this Lexus is equipped with an LPG system). Additionally, the AFS OFF warning light is on, but I don’t yet know the reason for it.
