Default Worth repairing or get rid

Hi all new to the community.
I have a 2007 rx400h with 127500 miles on it. Drives well however been advised that I need to change front 2 lower suspension arms and both front shock absorbers. Local and independent lexus specialist garages say they can't do it. Lexus have quoted me £2000 to do the above then also wheel alignment. Is it worth spending that much on repairing it or get rid of it?

If you're a DIY'er you'd be looking at probably 10 hours and $300, the price seems online for having someone do it... nobody but you can answer your question. I just did both of those recently.
*** IF you have someone do it make very sure they use KYB struts NOT some other aftermarket brand

Do your own due diligence finding an independent repair shop.

If everything else in the car is in good condition and you like the car, I would do it.
if this is at the dealer, the parts itself is about 1,000gbp I’m guessing. Hence, pricing does seem too bad.

try to see if you can get a discount to change out the back shocks at the same time.
