2008 Lexus RX 350 Climate Control Not Working
Hi everyone.
I have a 2008 Lexus RX 350 331,000 miles, and about a month ago, my ac light starting flashing after 5 minutes on the road. I checked the battery/alternator, fuses, relay, r134a level, replace junction box 2 relays, the high pressure switch Denso 88719-33020, recharged it and the compressor still isn't engaging. I think it may be a bad compressor variable sensor. But also my climate control is dead and only comes back to life after unplugging the battery but it doesn't blow in the right directions and the outside temp is --. It started acting up after my friend tried to jump the clutch with the positive battery and touching the 3 pin high pressure sensor wires. So I'm thinking the climate control amplifier part # 88650-48220 (88650B) may be bad or was already breaking down. I also replaced the climate control panel and it still is doing the same and also the radio is not working. At this point, I'm not sure what could be wrong. The only thing I can think of is the ac climate control amplifier.
