Default Lexus ls460 2009 AC control not working

My AC control unit is not working and not showing the temperature but shows passenger airbag on after installing carplay capability to the car. Also i ran out of battery while installing but was able to boost the car up. The ac control buttons also not working, I can increase or decrease the temperature but those on that control unit won’t respond, does anyone know what the issue may be?

What brand of CarPlay did you install? Sometimes add ons are advertised as plug and play but aren't and create issues. Try contacting the mfg for possible conflicts.

It’s Grom Vline 2, followed the guide and instruction video to the letter, everything else is working fine, the system boots up with carplay and everything it’s just the temperature control display stopped displaying temperature and buttons above it stopped working. Should I check the voltage in the connector pins? Idk

Grom. is probably not the issue. When your battery went dead, it's possible that you blew a fuse for climate control. Not sure which fuse panel, owners manual should point you in right direction.
