Default Program new key transponder for free.

These are the steps. Note when I attempted to sync by inserting a new key, the security flashing lamp got into a repeating pattern of flash, flash, short pause, flash, flash, flash, long pause. I believe this is caused when the max number of keys are in memory. This means I must erase one of the stored keys and this is accomplished by erasing all (which I am not instructing how) and syncing the five keys desired to be recognized by the car!
here is how to sync one key:When the new key arrives, your car does not recognize it, so to sync the new key by yourself. no need for dealer, locksmith or special tool.
1. sit in driver's seat, close all doors
2. insert and remove a working key in the ignition four times and insert once more, leaving key in ignition.
3. do not turn the key during the inserting and removing
4. open driver's door and close six times
5. security lamp on dash should be solid indicating correct mode (if flashing, start over from inserting and removing key)

6. remove working key
7. insert new key, security lamp flashing
8. wait until security lamp goes dark (60 seconds)
9. new key is recognized by car and can start engine.
