How long ago did this RX ever run for you?

Make sure the security light is off when you insert the key.
Then air, fuel spark and timing are the things to pursue.

You can take plug #2 and lay it on the block and confirm spark
You can spray some starter fluid (read and follow instructions) to bypass fuel issues.

Rx has chip in the key which must match with a registered key signature in the ECU. If it does not match the imobilizer (theft prevention) circuit will prevent spark and the engine will crank but it will not start.

First order of business would be to locate the key which is registered. When a new RX is sold it is provided with 2 master keys and 1 valet key and one flat key. The master and valet key have the chip that allows the vehicle to run. The master key can allow you to make copies which can be registered to start/run while the valet key does not allow registration of a copy.

Yes but it is firing I pulled a plug yesterday & checked it,it started out altenator fried ,they changed that then the fuel pump, then I started working on it I finally got fuel pump back together like it should be & I'm getting fuel & it's firing but it won't start it almost sounds like there's no fire at all.before I got fuel pump right it would try to start on starting fluid now that I have fuel it won't even try to start

We need a bit of clarity on your statements.

I assume you have spark.
You claim fuel pump is fixed, but that does not mean the injectors are working fine, You can try the starting fluid.
Timing? If the above two are working, I would suggest check the position of the cams and crankshaft.
If the engine fails to keep the idle, it can die too. You can hold the gas pedal down 25% to 33%.

After cranking a bit, you can still check for engine codes. Even pending codes can point to a problem area.

Whenever any work is done, there is a chance of collateral damage ... pinched wires, blown fuse etc. So recheck you work.

Can't say for sure but I think the security system disables the injectors, not the fuel pump or ignition. Either way if the security light does not go out with the key in the ignition the car will not start. This means the key is not registered with the ECU.

You never said that until now. Time to do a compression check.

Agreed!
We can still have a broken belt, so timing marks should be checked.

Codes: You can have pending codes which turn into fail codes if the situation is not corrected. Pending codes do not trigger the light.
