2002 RX300 AWD Splash Guard fasteners
Can anyone tell me the different types/sizes of the bolts or fasteners used to hold the splash guard in place? When I got it tggeee were only 4 left. I have the two for the sides that look like sheet metal screws. There is 1 left of the bolts from the front and back row. It is severely stripped. Whoever chanted the oil before I got it clearly didn't care about putting It back on correctly. It seems like there may be different sizes or types. It's hard to tell. Anyone have them still on the vehicle? If anyone knows I'd appreciate the help.
Best suggestion I can give is to visit the Lexus parts store have them show you or give a print out of the parts diagram. You can do the same by visiting Lexus on line parts like :Lexus of South Atlanta" and drilling down from your vehicle to model/yr-> body parts ->??
You will be surprised that there may be 3 or 4 different screws.
Other than machined screw, you can go with one size larger tapered threads generic automotive use screws.. I dont recommend it as you will not be able to size down to proper size.
