Default P0446 + P0440 Codes

I've searched the forums and found out these codes are usually due to one or more of the following

1) Gas cap
2) Hose on air filter box
3) Actual charcoal canister itself or something on it

My gas cap is fairly new, I bought it since I had the code awhile back. I'm not sure if it was resolved back then because I had other CEL codes, which are now resolved, now I just have these two codes, the P0440 is currently pending. For the hose on the air filter box, is it in a noticeable spot or does someone have a picture of it? I don't see any loose connections. Then for the charcoal canister, has anyone fixed their CEL codes by replacing anything connecting (hoses?) to the charcoal canister itself? If it is the charcoal canister, it seems like that would be a repair not worth doing on my old RX300.

Had this same problem. Check all hoses for evap system.

Mine ended up being the "overfill check valve" on the gas tank

Just looked up some videos on some other cars, if that's my issue, I guess I'm going to be dealing with the CEL on until the car blows up.
