Default Trip Information Problem on Navigation System?

On the Navigation System, when I check the Trip Information (Fuel Consumption) screen, I noticed that the DISTANCE TRAVEL gets reset to 0KM or 0MI everytime I start the engine. According to the Navigation System Manual it states that the DISTANCE Travel gets reset to 0 after every fill up and not everytime I start the engine. Does your RX330 with NAV reset the Distance travelled after an Engine start or after a fill-up.

In other words do I have a problem or not?

Regards and Thanks in Advance,

you're confusing the CRUISING RANGE with the CRUISE DISTANCE..

Cruising Range is how far you can travel before you need to refuel - and that won't reset until you refuel

Cruise Distance is how far you've traveled since your vehicle has been started - if you turn the engine off it will reset to zero once restarted

Thanks Jeff. I appreciate the input. I was confused by the manual.

Is there a way to set it so it doesn't reset everytime you turn it off?
