Default Can't turn on voice navigation

I am having an interesting issue with the voice navigation. When I got the car a few weeks ago, I must have turned off the voice navigation somehow and now can't turn it back on.

After looking at the manual, I toggled the on/off setting on the Settings menu, and tried to press the 'voice' button during navigation, but the voice instructions still won't turn on! Does anyone know if I'm missing something obvious here?

Make sure the volume isn't set to zero or off...

Hmmm, I wonder if someone has messed with the wiring. Here is a way to check, start car, press destination button and address, start to drive away.....if the buttons grey out within a couple of seconds, your wires are not tampered with in a manner that will cause your problems you described

It was the volume setting in the menu that you change through the touchscreen. Thanks for the help!
