HELP! Code P1350 quit while driving, will not start!
I have a 2000 Lexus RX300
while driving uphill at 65mph, engine quit, engine light came on at that time (not before), will not restart. I have power i.e. radio, windows, etc., changed VVT solenoid. Still no start. Has gas, dirty oil, but none the less, it had it, water.. Any help greatly appreciated. Cannot afford garage repair.

Some additional steps to take if replacing the VVT didn't work:
"1. Disconnect suspect VVT sensor connector. Measure resistance between VVT sensor terminals. Resistance should be 835-1400 ohms at 14-122 F (-10-50 C), or 1060-1645 ohms at 122-212 F (50-100 C). Replace VVT sensor as necessary. If resistance is as specified, go to next step.
2. Check for open or short circuit in wiring harness between ECM connector and appropriate VVT sensor. Repair as necessary. If wiring harness is okay, inspect VVT sensor installation. Tighten sensor as necessary. If VVT sensor is installed properly, replace ECM and retest. "

I ended up having to replace timing belt, water pump, the kit..952.00 later.. well, all runs well now. Thank you for the response. Now i have a vvt that probably wasn't bad to begin with, so thinking of pay it forward on this site, but there hasn't been any posts in that particular thread in a while.
