Default headlights

Hello, I installed hid lights and they worked great but last nite they just stopped working. If I turn the switch from off to on, they come on for a millisecond. Is there a relay that might be the problem. Any help would be great. Thanks

What is the make of HID and does the seller have a support line?

Shooting from the hip, I would say try swapping the ballast.

They are HIDextra, and yes I am talking with them and they are good to work with. I just though maybe some relay in the car was not working proper. Thanks your input my though was the same, ballast. The lights are great when they are working, don't really need high beams.

I have not changed my setup .. stayed with conventional.

Check your instal, the socket that connected to the old bulb should now be going to the ballast and the ballast output would be go to the HID. Without ripping up stuff, you should be able to disconnect the connector and connect it back to the old bulb [I hope you still have them]. This should tell you if the problem is in the new set up or it is in the old wiring.

I bought my 2001 Lexus RX 300 October 2015 I put a set of HID headlights and Cree tail light bulbs using RED LED bulbs for the taillights and white for my backup lights. The reason I use Cree they are the brightest taillights you can possibly you can buy them at DDM Tuning or www.ddmtuning.com 714-901-5080 these lights are as bright as which now coming standard on the new cars. I jokingly say if you stand back in my vehicle with my brake lights onyou will get a sunburn . They also have HID headlights with lifetime warranty. I also got the Amber LED for my rear blinkers and they do really let people know I'm changing lanes they do blink faster than the standard bulb. again using the cree led bulb. I also have a 2006 Camry which I put HID headlights on in 2007 never a problem with relays on any my cars just plug-and-play my bulbs last about seven years on average.

They sent me a whole new set of bulbs and ballasts HIDextra has great customer service. Tried one set on passenger side because that is where the power comes in and still same thing. Put old bulbs in and works fine. When I turn on lights, I hear a click on pass side when going from off to ON to AUTO with old bulbs, but not with new bulbs is there a relay on the pass side that I could check. I will try a full install again.
