the entire front end of the vehicle is out. its sitting on old tires in my home shop as i write this. i used a homeade wood gantry crane to lift the vehicle off the engine. i built the crane just for this job for about $500. it lifts the car and the engine no car lift required.

all of the crane build videos are posted and the first of the engine removal videos is posted. i should be posting the rest today. FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY (not trying to make money here. i like giving away information for free because the establishment is satan and i heart Jesus) the videos are on my channel HillbillyMatt ExtremeDIY on the youtubes.

the crane build was so much fun, the engine removal not so much but breaking it up into smaller tasks and working from easiest to hardest made it fairly simple.

now that i have it out. where do the engine lift chains go? for some reason my engine did not come with lifting points.
