Clean MAF Sensor, Triggered Check Engine Light
Hi everyone,
Today I decided to uninstall my MAF sensor and cleaned it with the CRC MAF Sensor Cleaner. When I reinstalled my MAF sensor and started my car, my check engine light came on. Is this normal?
I panicked and used my scanner to reset the codes. After driving around for 30 minutes, the check engine light did not trigger and there were no trouble codes found. Am I safe?

As DRCOFFE suggested, and you had already done, it is good practice to allow or FORCE the computer to readjust to the new normal.
If everything is running fine, dont worry for no reason.
