Default Code P1345 - Camshaft Position Sensor Replacement

Hello Everyone:

First, happy new year. My 2002's CEL light came on about 3 weeks ago with no noticeable change in driving performance. With the holiday crunch, I knew I could get around to checking it out afterward. Now today, I'm noticing deterioration in the engine sound and rough idle. I cleared the CEL, drove around a bit and forced the light to come back on. I had the code checked at local Auto Zone. Only one code popped up: It's P1345 Camshaft Position Sensor Bank 1. I'm pretty handy with cars and thanks to this forum I've repaired/replaced many issues with my car...including sensor replacements. My issue: I've checked the forum posts and YouTube, but I can't find a clear DIY on how to replace the camshaft sensors. Can someone point me to a forum posting or external source for camshaft sensor location and swapout? If these sensors are not accessible (example: located under the timing belt covers), I'll pass on the project and have a mechanic do the work. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Thanks Salim for the response. I actually did see this post on the cam sensors. The problem is the photos show the location of the cam sensor for bank #2 on the front of the engine. I need to access the bank #1 sensor. Last night I found a very small thumbnail picture of the 1MZFE engine pointing to the bank #1 sensor in the back (firewall) side of the motor. Unfortunately it wasn't very helpful. That's why I need to determine location and hopefully get some feedback on how easy or hard a DIY this is.

Thanks.
