RX300 Computer Chip Upgrade
Check out www.weapon-r.com to see their info about the ECU. I'm not to sure what they will price the ECU. My guess, they will keep the price the same with their other ECU's. Give weapon-r a call and speak to Leo. He's busy trying to build new products, but loves to speak to customers.
That's weird, in the first paragraph detailing available ECUs they mention the RX300. But in the later column they mention it's being worked on. hmmm. typo perhaps.
But yeah, if it's about $730 (which is what the other listed for on the online seller site), I might be tempted to try it out.

Hey fellas-
Just wanted to bring this thread back to the top and add a little info. The following link is to a thread over on Yotatech Forums about a 'piggy-back' computer tuner, as an alternative to a programmed chip. It is a very long thread, but has a ton of good info about the system and how to make it work on the Toy 3.4L v-6, similar to our 3.0's.

I warned you it was long...
There is a Perfer Power Dealer down in NJ that could probably answer your questions better than me.
If you are really after performance, to me it makes more since to buy a less expensive piggy-back computer tuner (~$300) versus a preprogrammed more expensive chip(~$500-700?) because then you can tune your engine to perform how you see fit. I live at 7000 ft. elevation, so fuel maps and timing curves that equal the best preformace for me will be different than those of you who live at sea level. A tune-able comuter lets you customize the programming to what works best for each individual vehicle/location/driving conditions, etc. There are other advantages/benefits to this type of set-up if you choose to add forced induction, too.
Just a few thoughts...

I understand the basics of how my engine works, but I'm not fully knowledgeable of the intricacies of this engine. I just fear if you tweak the system yourself, you risk blowing up your engine that you will completely out of warranty.
I personally like to see a before and after results from a Dyno by putting in a chip.
