2000 RX300 fwd
Seems to run great but has terrible gas milage.
Any suggestions?

What is your definition of terrible? Anything above 20 MPG can be considered acceptable.

I would say if you get 17 or less, it would be a matter of concern. It varies quite a bit based on traffic, hills and driving style.

It is going to depend largely on how you drive it, would be interested to know what mpg you are getting.

I get average 15 in city and best is 18.5 to 19 on highway doing speed limit with cruise control.
I am a light on the pedal driver

Went to pa using cruise all the way staying within 5 mph of speed limit averaged 18.5 mpg at best

I dont get above 19 on highway and I am not heavy on the gas

My new-to-me 2002 RX300 AWD w/88k was averaging 18 mpg, but improved 2 mpg when I had the throttle body cleaned. To be clear I was having trouble with the accelerator pedal sticking, and that is why they suggested cleaning the throttle body. It fixed that issue and has also resulted in a slight improvement in gas mileage. There is a DIY thread that explains the process on CL.
