Romania? Maybe we have too many variables involved.

1 Imperial gallon = 1.20095042 US gallons
1 Imperial gallon = 4.54609188 liters
1 US gallon = 3.78541178 liters

17 miles per US gallon in city only driving (under 45 mph or 73 km/h) would be very good for my U.S. specification 2000 LS400. If I drive only on low speed city streets, my mileage varies between 14 and 17 miles per US gallon.

You might find information more relevant to your situation on the forum at http://euro.lexusownersclub.com/

We do not know your driving conditions including the maximum speeds you are driving and how often you stop and go. Debating your fuel economy is like http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/How_man...ad_of_a_pin%3F

Lexus V8 cars are not economy cars. Maybe you should buy a Dacia.

I've heard good things about the Sandero.

i get 18-19mpg driving the routes that have the less amount of stop and go around town. It gets up to 50mph then back to 35mph. The stop and go route is 30mph and i get 18mpg if i drive conservative 17-18mpg if i drive 5 over and go around slower traffic.
