Trip A
There is a fairly tall, thin black plastic rod sticking out of the bottom of the instrument panel that, when you push it, toggles between odometer, trip A mileage, and trip B mileage. If you hold the rod in while on Trip A or Trip B, it resets the mileage for those functions.
"”ODO/TRIP” ****
This meter displays the odometer and two trip meters. To change the mode indication, push the ”ODO/TRIP” **** briefly. Each time you push the ****, the mode changes in order from the odometer to trip meter A to trip meter B, then back to the odometer, etc.
The odometer records the total distance the vehicle has been driven. The twin trip meter records two different distances independently.
For example, you can use one meter to calculate the fuel economy and the other to measure the distance on each trip.
To set the A trip meter to zero, display the A meter reading, push the **** and hold it. The same applies for the B trip meter.
The data of trip meters will be cancelled if the electrical power source is disconnected.

You will have to press it twice, through Trip B, and back to Odometer reading.

If you prefer a paper manual, I believe Lexus can send you one free of charge if you ask them to.
You're welcome.

It may be obscured by your steering wheel.
Press it and let it go and it will toggle thru Trip-A, Trip-B, and your mileage.
While on Tirp-A or Trip-B hold the button in for a few seconds and it will reset to Zero.
I use this when I fill up the gas tank.
By resetting one of the Trip counters I can easily tell how many miles I get on a tank.
The second trip meter is helpful if the entire trip (many refills) needs to be captured for business or tax reasons.
Also note that just about every modern vehicle have at least one 'trip counter' and most reset buttons are located just where the RX button is located.
My 1990 Jeep has one.
PUSH !It looks like a little stick coming thru the glass.
All you can do is Push it, not turn it, pull on it or slap at it in any way.
Push once to toggle thru the three settings.
Push and hold for several seconds to reset.
And don't feel bad, I got in a truck once that had 29,000 miles on the Trip counter.
How does that counter go 29k without getting reset...accidently?
Obviously the gauge cluster never got wiped clean.
