Default MPG since when?

On the 2011 LS 460 instrument panel, in the same display that shows outside temp, is "Average MPG." Average since when? I know there's a MPG SINCE REFILL display, but not the "Average MPG." I can find no way to reset that to zero. When I purchased the car it had 13000 miles and 15.6 mpg.

I am not near my LS so this is from memory.

On the steering wheel, right side, to the Left of the DPS BUTTON there should be a reset button. After hitting the DSP button to display AVE MPG hold reset button. It now restarts the average mpg over again.

Default Thank you, and Wow!

Wow! for those gorgeous cars. I can see where you're a go-to man for info on Lexuses (Lexi?). With that in mind, I've a question about my 2011 LS460 that didn't get succesfully answered on the Forum, would it be possible to email you directly? I'm at len3d@msn.com.
Thanks again for showing me how to reset that mpg.

Perhaps bump your previous thread - I'm sure we will all learn something from the answer.

Len,

I'm a relative newbie to Lexus and not really a go-to man.

Bump the thread that didn't get answered and see what the more knowledgable owners have to say.

Default Thanks, but I don't think I'll bump.

For one thing, I don't know what a thread "bump" is. For another, there were a number of replies to the thread, but nothing helpful. I just purchased a 2011 LS460 with 13K miles. The ride is awful on other than smooth streets and roads. Every bump is felt, tar lines between concrete portions of freeways are felt. It feels like driving over deep potholes when they're not big. The dealer and a Lexus regional something who was in the area supposedly drove the car and say the ride is "normal." That Lexus wants the 460 to compete with BMW and Mercedes, so they harshened the ride. I've owned a BMW and ridden in various Mercedes models, and their ride is nowhere near that of my 460; the other cars have good rides.
I don't want to waste your time here. I think the title of my thread was "Are you disappointed with your 2011 LS460?"
