Default Pointers?

Hey guys, I have been around for years but forgot my old id. Our RX has been down since 2010 with a bad motor and I finally got around to buying a new JDM motor for it. I was curious if there are any DIY's out there for removing the front core support to get started?

I could probably figure it out, but prefer having a guide so I don't break anything. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

And pics of my daily, because we all <3 pictures.

In case anyone else needs it:

So there is a difference in the 1MZ-FE from an AWD Toyota Highlander and AWD RX300 apparently. For those interested, here is why they won't interchange:

Rx300:

That sucks, hopefully they can find an AWD engine.

Thanks. So another update. Apparently, the company's Toyota tech states it IS an AWD motor but may be from a Toyota Highlander rather than RX300. They also stated that swapping the 2 piece oil pan should allow for my RX300 mounts to be used.

Here is a photo I found of a Highlander AWD engine bay without the motor which may back up this claim:

This week I am going to attempt to swap the oil pans and hope the engine mounts attach to it as the mechanic stated. More updates soon.
