Default handle lubrication question

have a stricky handle of rear hatch of 99 300rx. this means automatic door locks, by key fob, do not always work [ie handle does return fully to neutral position]. any advice???

Try some wd40 to clean it, then use Silicone spray for lubricant...worth a try before you take door panel apart....

Early model's of RX had a defect in the hatch release. You may want to verify with the dealer. It very well could be an age factor too.

What is the defect of which you speak, Salim? Mine has always been somewhat tempermental but has never been replaced.

The release can be stuck as if the lock has been set.

I had that problem in the initial years and the dealer took care of it.

Word of caution .. out symptoms are the same, but the root cause can be different .. wear/adjustment etc.
