Question Quick question before I get any tools out

I know that our GS's have this common problem of bad door actuators. My current problem is my rear right passenger door doesn't unlock with remote, unlock button on front driver or front passenger door.

So, basically my rear right door does not unlock unless I reach and turn the lock with my hand. It's not bad; it just isn't convenience at times.

Before I take my door panel out to look at the hooks and rods, I would like to know if anyone knows exactly what the problem is whether it's an actuator problem, electrical problem, or just "it" just happens problem.

Thanks GS owners

It's a problem with the door actuator itself, nothing electrical.

So, just replace the actuator.......

hmm... Do I have to get a specific side/corner for that door or are they all the same? How much am I expected to pay for one unit of this?

Thanks for the quick response.

I'd try to hit up Aliga first to see if you can find a good used one...
