Can anyone tell me about getting the front windows tinted to match the factory tint in the rears? Can a lexus dealership do it, because i would really want it to match well. if so, what is the pricing like?

Ahh that is NYCEEE. Mine is back too....its like getting a preview. can any window shop do the install or should i go to a dealer?

 

i went to a local tint shop. got all my windows done for 149$ all 10 windows were tinted (including a strip across the front)

 

ya, you should be able to do it at any tint shop. looks exactly the same. but while your inside the cabin, it will look a bit duller if you look outside from the front windows instead of your rear ones since the fronts uses the film while the back is the window itself.

Tint looks great. Too bad it's illegal in Illinois. Nice side tubes. I have the WAAG. Pretty satisfied.

 

they are illegal but i doubt the cops will notice it since the rears are like it and the front match up with the rears EXCEPT not that good since the front of the car window is not tinted it lets in light so its easeir to see inside from outside...

 

totaly legal here in texas......just so long it is 35% on the front windows. they check when you renew your inspection sticker.

 

anyone know if it is illegal in NC. If so, what happens if they do catch you?
