Hey everyone the wife texted me a pic of a trouble light that came up. Can someone identify this? Is it an SES light or is it something specific? Sorry for the poor iphone quality and thanks for the help.
Check the third brake light.
I got this warning intermittently even though no bulbs were burned out.
Eventually figured out it occured after the rear hatch had been closed...with vigor.
Yup, it is indeed the brake light warning. You might want to get that taken care of right away; I talk from experience I once got a $50 ticket for having a brake light out and I had just left pepboys with the bulb and it was in my hand at the time the cop gave me a ticket but he didn't give a damn that I was just about to replace it.

Dayum! Tell me what town that was so I can avoid it.
That's one great feature about the RX, warning light comes on when any tail light goes out. Only happened once on the '04. Then again, I didn't go too far north of 50K on either of my RXs before trading in to have much fail. If you leap to the '10, there's a light that comes on the dash when the remote battery is going. And it's changed during scheduled service. Gotta love Lexus for coming up with these things
Speaking of tail lights, man am I missing the old school ones from 1st and 2nd gen. The '10 design is so blah!

This happened in Dennville near Parsippany; good thing I live in Central Jersey where we have forgiving cops that let you slide once in a while.
I know exactly where you talking about. It's close to me. I thought by driving an RX it would not attract the attention. It stinks we don't have fix it tickets here I had the Lexus dealer closest to me change out the tail light bulb, no charge, because I didn't have the time to change it myself.
My dealer is in central Jersey. Thanks for the info about the cops there. I won't push my luck
