Default brake light warning

Hey,

Weird thing. My brake light warning went on 2 days ago and I looked and my left brake light would not light up. Then all of a sudden today the warning doesn't come on anymore and the brake light is working.

I'm not complaining but I'm just curious why it stopped working then started again? Haha

Any ideas?

maybe the light was loose. i have that situation since my exhausts are welded to the frame of the car so it vibrates the light housings. maybe just loose?
