Navigation Screen Black...
My gf's battery was dead in her 2003 RX300 the other morning when she was leaving for work. So I jumped up out of bed and pushed her car back so that I could reach the cables from my 93 Cummins to jump start her. Not being entirely awake(5:30AM), I made a brilliant move and crossed the cables.
So I handed her the keys to my VW and away she went to work, while I stayed home to fix my boo boo.
I replaced the 140 amp fuse in her car and it fired right up. Yay, the car is fixed with only a $15 fuse to pay for my transgressions ($15 for a fuse?!). But wait, there is more!
Now her Nav screen is black. Which means that her stereo doesn't work. Out comes my Fluke and there is power to the fuse. The fuse is even okay.
Also, the dome lights won't work. But all of the other lights work. And the sunroof and windows work. And the climate control works. And the dash lights work. And cruise...
I admit that I am a newbie to the world of Lexus (do you guys use the term Lexii for plural?) but I have definitely busted my fair share of knuckles. Any ideas?

If you get hold of circuit diagram, you can logically zero on to which fuse by observing what things are not working.
There are 2 fuse boxes ... one in the engine bay next to the battery and second inside the cabin ... behind the coin box ... driver left knee.

I did think that I had searched all of the other fuses too. Apparently I missed to dome light fuse that kept if from working. (I started over at the beginning again and rechecked my work).
The Radio/accessory was not as easy. The fuse was fine. (Even through the second sweep.) But the wire directly beneath the fuse panel was fried. I got really lucky that it was there and not in some obscure wiring harness under the dash.
Either way, the car is 100% functioning again. Now I just need to get her a new nav DVD. I thought I had escaped that need...
Thanks again everyone for all of your help. The outpouring of support for a newbie with Lexus was almost overwhelming...
