I just installed my dashcam this weekend and used a fuse tap for the parking module, I used the fuse box on the driver side and plugged it into the constant and non constant power source fuse. Everything works fine but now I don't have lights on my steering wheel, by the gear shifter, console buttons (nav,audio,climate etc etc) and the worse part is that at night my navigation screen does not turn into night mode(black) mean while before you can change to day/night when you press the display button on the console, but now theres only "screen off".

I checked all the fuse and non are blown, all correctly inserted, any ideas?

 

Have you tried unplugging the dash cam, and any kind of wire tap?

 

Yup, I unplugged everything and put it back to original layout and still nothing.

 

Did you find what fuse controls the acc lighting and test to see if theres power going to it? If there isnt you may have to dig deeper in the wiring. Certain 3GS have issues with the driver side fuse panel, but I think that mainly stopping the trunk from unlocking. Guys had to replace their fuse boxes
