Default DOH! Another dent/scratch...oh well!

Yup, I was attaching the big bastard below on my RX to test out the lights and wiring on the trailer for my brother.

Well, there is a slight incline there and when I picked up the tounge of the trailer it started to roll forwards towards my back bumper - I wasn't expecting that. I didn't stop it before my bumper did:eek: It just kinda bounced off the back

I just looked at it and was surprised at how little I cared at first. Of course I was screaming and swearing in my head but I just knew that there was nothing I could do about it now. I'm on summer vacation and am a master of calmness now

On a good note, that was the first time I've tried out my trailer wiring harness and it works and so does the trailer

The paint is just squished into the dimpled area of the bumper. It's really not that bad - you can just see it from an angle when the light hits it differently. It's difficult to tell from this picture. I just wanted to whine about it.

The fuzzy part is where my thumb is pressing into the bumper, it's a small line above that running horizontally. Okay, you really just can't tell from the picture - I mean my bumper looks damn good in that pic! I've tried other angles and I can't get it to show. Like I said...oh well.

Thats too bad, but i can't see it in the pic at all, so i'm sure you'll be the only one that notices, well apart from everyone on this board. There's a bump like that in our bumper and i am the only one who notices it. Oh well, things happen i guess.

My dad got his first ding on his RX 20 minutes after leaving the dealer. Yes, 20 minutes.

We got out of the dealer and went to Sizzler to celebrate the new car.

We parked right next to a handicapped parking spot where 80% of the time nobody parks in and far away from the spot to the right.

Sure enough, we come out of sizzler and there's a ding. And a big bad black suburban right next to the car.

Oh well

life sucks.

20 minutes man!!

I think 20 minutes is the record:eek: I'm going to buy one of those car bubbles and inflate it over my car in parking lots

Thumbs up Another scratch

Our '01 went three weeks before getting a "supermarket cart" sctatch on the front and rear driver side doors. Lexus wanted well over $600 to repair.

After some very careful wet sanding and a lot of elbow grease compounding......wala.....no more scratch. Try it on your bumper.

waii! if only i had been on this board sooner, i could whine about the stupid truck that lives behind us. this family behind us has a son that owns a Chevy truck, and it's frickinly big, and loaded with like the usual metal framing crap. and so me and my mom were backing out of the garage one day, and like the kid totally parked on the other side of where he usually parks, and so my mom just keeps going (habit) into the same side we always do, and so with the truck appearing on the other side, we run into it with the back of our RX. the bumper's been sorta squished with a crack on the top of it, and the trunk has about a 1" by 2" dent like right there. i got so pissed. at least we marked up the guys truck pretty bad. those trucks aren't all they're knocked out to be. my mom doesn't really feel like fixing it, so it's gonna be there for a while. if i find a digital camera some time, i'll post up the pics of it. since it's not goin anywhere. well that's my rant for today.

Sorry to hear about that Zeta, scratches and dents are inevitable on a daily driver for sure. It's the price you pay, unfortunantly, and many times it's because of someone elses neglegence. This time it was my own

hahah its ok guys, at least you guys arent me...

during my first month, my sister drove my car to work... then i get the phone call... and BAM my sis said some idiot who parked behind, i guess trieed to squeeze out and scrached the back bumper... remember pics i posted... still there.. gonna fix it soon
man was i mad... i wanted to beat that guys Azz for doing that...

Then the 2nd thing that happend was in front of this theatre... i was parked in front which was a white zone and only employees can park there... these 2 fools in some junker pulls up so i had to tell him to move since he cant park there... then he ask why this rx300 park here, i was its an employees car... then he gives me this funny look and leaves. Next day dad comes to me and says he found a FAT keyed scratch on my right fender... sigh.. damn those haters...

then the most recent one that happen was when i was parking it in the parking lot of my school... i come back from class look at my front left side markers and its been scrubbed by some other car with a bit of green paint... sigh...

hahah see i'm the one running into bad luck all the time.. =) just glad you guys arent me...

well they are all still there gonna fix it sooner or later... just waiting first =)

i'll post some pics of how they are now hehe, cuz i got my new digi camera =) its fun, just not fun showing the bad parts...
