The reach is a little tough. Will have to hold on until this weekend. Could a dying battery in my key be a possible cause. I noticed my LED on the key doesnt even blink anymore. It's happened more than once where the buttons on my keys werent even unlocking or locking

Last time I was up at Lexus, I noticed one of my two master keys had a no LED and had a tough time using it, but that was with the doors, not the ignition. Got a battery right there and no issue. However, trying a valet key should show it should work.

The imobilizer in the key prevents engine from running .. the cranking by starter is limited to the battery, solenoid and starter (with wiring to the starter and the wire to the primary of the solenoid from ignition switch).
