out side temp

Default out side temp

my out side temp shows inacurate readings 4 or 5 degrees higher than the proper readings are what can i do to make it give the proper reading and where is it located,, thanks

the temp sensor is under the front bumper right under the car so it's going to have a higher temp due to the road being hot

For many driving applications it is probably more important to know the road surface temp than the air temperature 4 or 5 feet above the ground. Whether in near freezing weather or desert heat, I prefer to know what my contact patches are up against.

You can replace the sensor but the next one can be off as well. Best is to do mental math.
