Where Can I pruchase the outside temp sensor? Besides the stealership.
Sorry, My wife's truck is a 99-RX300

It's called an Ambient Air Temperature Sensor listed under Heat & Air Conditioning once you find your vehicle and it's under $20 USD.

Not to sound like a dummy,but how do you know it`s bad? Is it just not registering anything?

I am not sure in his particular case, but I knew there was an issue with mine because every time I'd turn on the a/c (this goes back many years ago) it go full blast on AUTO. Turns out that when we had painted the lower panels and bumpers black to match the rest of the vehicle we forgot to tape up this sensor (we had put paper in front of the radiator) and I had to use some thinner to clean it off.
