I'm finding that the noise levels when the moonroof is open is louder than I wish to tolerate... so I was thinking about getting the wind deflector and installing it myself.
Has anyone done this install and was it difficult?
What the best price I can expect to get the deflector? and where?
Thanks!

I am also annoyed by the excessive noise when the
sunroof is open.
My Lexus dealer had a deflector on display at the
part dept... The service advisor pop it on my '01 RX300
in only two minutes. I drove around, up to 60mph.
It offered only minor improvement at moderate
speeds(40 to 50mph)... at freeway speeds(60 to 90mph)
the noise is about the same... I didn't ask about the
price, since I didn't buy it.... but I think it was around
$60.

Thanks Sleepybobcat
I appreciate your reply!
I was hoping the deflector would offer a more dramatic decrease in the noise level, but based on what you said, I'll most likely forego the plastic "wort" and keep the clean lines atop my RX.

moonroof deflector update
Just as an update, as I went to the dealership to get my rear bumper protector I asked about the moonroof deflector; the parts person/manager advised AGAINST getting one. He stated that the deflector didn't really help much at all and was not worth getting it. So, I've decided with the majority (2-1!) and have determined to save my money and forego the deflector.

Got an aftermarket winddeflector in LA for $40 pretty good, a lot quiter then without one, haven't tried it at 60 miles an hour but i'm sure its better. Tell me if you interested i'll give you his phone# for forty bucks its a win win situation. Really easy to install too.
