Default Wind Noise

I am getting wind noise from the door seals above 40mph and wonder who has replacement seals the ones that go around the cab at a fair price. I tried searching but I must suck or they just don't make them anymore.

Can anyone help?

Try Sewell Lexus, they have a clublexus discount on there once you register. Even discounted however, they are a bit pricey. Having owned a 92 SC and now an 00 SC with only 48,500 miles on it, I'm under the impression that wind noise is just a feature of this car. My current one has almost as much wind noise as my 92 did at highway speeds. So changing all your seals, unless visibly worn, might not really make THAT much of a difference.

my SC3 is pretty quiet, the only wind noise I get is from the closed sunroof. If I pull the cover closed it helps some.

My sunroof is odd. If I tilt it up open and then down to close it, I get wind noise. I get rid of it by opening and closing it again (via slide back, then forward). My sunroof is probably a bit off when using the tilt to seal.

My 95 has no apparent wind noise (at least compared to my other rigs) I would look at the door adjustment if your seals have no apparent damage or deformation. It may be such that some bodyman adjusted the door in the past for appearance (fore, aft, up, down, in or out) and caused the wind noise. A quality bodyman should be able to get to the bottom of your problem. Lexus is the gold standard for quiet cars and should not have these issues. Good Luck!

Hmm, for those who say there's no wind noise with theirs, I wonder if you have compared it to say an e39 or even e60 5 series or an LS400/430/460. I feel like the wind noise on the SC's that I've driven (mine current and old, and 2 of my friends SCs) are more audible than those aforementioned cars. And I'm talking about speeds in excess of 60mph.
