Default Locking Gas Cap?

Has anyone ever found a factory locking gas cap for the Lexus RX300? With skyrocketing gas prices and living in DC, I expect a locking gas cap might be a prudent purchase?

Anyone find something they like? And where?

Your locking door isn't enough of deterrent?

In Washington, DC -- no. Breaking the lock on the outer door is relatively fast and easy.

There are aftermarket locking gas caps that should fit just fine.

Default Stant Makes One

I ended up purchasing the Stant 10595, which seems to work perfectly.

Thanks!

I bought a Stant also. I also thought about putting some sort of small decal / label near the gas filler door that tells thieves that the vehicle has a locking gas cap. Maybe it help prevent body damage to the filler door or surrounding area when they tear it up for no reason !

Til then, maybe just leave the outer fuel door open when you park it so they can see for themselves.
