Default Problematic Screen Display

Sometimes when I start my 2001 RX 300, the information screen does not show any information in the temperature control and full sections. The temperature control system is working...but no information on it. The music portion of the screen is never affected...just the driving and temperature control information. Is this probably a loose wire somewhere, or are there inherent problems with these screens?

Default Fast fix?

Almost all strange screen malfunctions can be cured by replacing the battery. As your RX's battery approaches the end of its service life, its voltage will fall below the minimum required for some of the computer functions, especially during heavy loads like cranking. Sorry, but at least the fix is relatively cheap and it is a DIY item.
