I don't know what the pattern is, but you need to stick the key in the ignition and to a certain on/off sequence and push the odometer button. I watched them do it but don't recall the pattern. Hopefully someone knows and can post the proceedure here.

With the key in the ignition and off press and hold the ODO button and turn the ignition to the on position.

Default maint req'd light

If you look in your owner's manual there is a section on warning lights. I believe that all you have to do is press the odometer reset button and turn on the ignition key at the same time. Hold the button in until your odometer reading is 00000. This should make the light turn off.
