Default Rcf mpg

Ok so, there's this youtube comment that his RCF gets 30 mpg in the interstate. Anyone here has been able to have this? I have the RC 350 with a lower HP and main drive on eco mode, the best I can do on the interstate w/ no elevation is 25 mpg. I called that youtube comment bull****.

If you’re coasting on a flat, leveled road, it’s possible.

Or he did a reset and took a photo 🤩

Here’s my average for a ~500 mile trip from Utah to Phoenix, AZ mostly in eco mode. Lots of up and down, curvy mountain roads and multiple sprints over 100 to pass. 30mpg is definitely achievable.

RCF has the Atkinson cycle in ECO mode, which makes the engine effectively act like a much smaller engine. If you are cruising at a constant highway speed, 30 MPG is possible. I remember seeing someone post 30 MPG.

This is even possible with the older ISFs without Atkinson system implemented. So it’s definitely possible on an RCF.

The only factor is not giving into temptation…putting the RCF in eco is like have a VS model on your bed…how long do you hold out before you give in 😉

I often see when calculating my actual mileage that the computers avg MPG vs what I actually get is off by as much as 2 MPG (higher on the computer avg).

I get 9 mpg when I drive the car...lol. Anything higher than that and I should be in my CT. I love hearing the RCF and it's fun blipping through the gears.

After a short commute this morning I’ll say 30+ is doable in the proper conditions.

My best was 28 mpg.

The V6 is stuffed in a heavy chassis so it's working extra hard lol.

It’s doable but boring. I’ve gotten 28mpg in the GSF at 75-80mph in eco. Drop it down to 70mph or less and it could do it. I just don’t see the point.

If the flow of traffic’s 70 then 70 it is. What’s the point of being in Sport+ during stop and go traffic? It takes the same amount of time getting to work regardless of ‘mode’.
