I have been considering the best high performance all seasons (Continental DWS06+/Michelin AS4) vs the Michelin ps4s for my RC F. Now I am near Atlanta so my weather is great most of the year except for a few days, when it gets in the high 20s f, or perhaps if I travel to colder mountain areas in TN so that's why I am wondering if the high performance all seasons are a better idea, I wonder how the ps4s would do in those dry temps...
If I could get 90% of the ps4s performance with the Continentals driving near the "limit on the streets" and perhaps a quieter ride, I would be very happy, but not sure how they stack against each other on the street.
I have driven PS4S XL tires in temperatures as low as 3 - 4C and they do just fine. Just need to be careful with the throttle (I also have the SprintBooster that makes the throttle response super sharp). Never had any issues. I think in your much warmer Atlanta weather, you should be fine.

I have had OEM PSS and now I have DWS06+. Honestly I was expecting a large grip penalty but i don’t feel it too much. Most of the time on the street they offer plenty of traction especially when it’s warm outside. They do fine launching even from first gear full throttle as long as they are warm. I am pretty happy with them.

You won’t get 90% on an all season tire in comparison with a PS4. All seasons are too hard and don’t grip like softer summer tires do IMHIK. I have yoko apex summer tires and it grips like hell but still can’t compare to max grip on the PS4s.
if PS4s are available to you and you don’t get snow on your part of the world…please spring for the PS4s…or a set of Conti Extreme Sports…both tires will not disappoint you.
I have Michelin PS4. They're great most of the time. When it's cold, they turn into hockey pucks. I work from home, so I avoid driving when it's below freezing and there's any ice or snow on the road. Traction is pretty terrible. If the roads are clear, they're ok. Just have to watch the throttle from a dead stop. But as long as it's not in sport mode, traction control kicks in pretty fast.
It really depends. Once 40 deg F hits, might as well park it or assume risk. Summer tires are great if you have a second set of summer wheels. But due to the versatility in cold weather, doesn't make sense to run year around.
I ran summer tire on a previous car that had 2 sets of wheels. They do great in summer. But they are a one trick pony in that regard.
Off topic.. but I’ve had both PSAS4 and DWS06+. I can say that the PSAS4 has a better dry grip advantage than the Contis. They both do very well in the rain/wet pavements.
The Contis have a softer sidewall, so road feedback is slightly reduced.
For the price point difference, the PS4S is that much more worth it than the Contis. I can sacrifice dry grip to save some money.

Other than that, both are great tires.
The PSAS4 is on my sights as well, how was the road noise comparison?
That would probably sway my decision between those and the Contis honestly.
