How are y'all jacking up the RC F? The dealer seems to jack it up by the pinch welds. I have a 3 ton floor jack and a couple of jack stands that I would like to use, if anyone has a similar setup please share what points you are using to jack up the car and avoid bending the pinch welds as well as placement of the jack stands.
If you read the manual there are center jack points behind the engine and also around the rear differential. You can find it in the manual. I jack my car up on these points, but I have to drive up small ramps first to get the jack under the car. Then once it is lifted up, I put the jack stands under the pinch welds with the rubber hockey pucks to protect the body.
I wonder why Lexus recommends lifting the entire front or rear half of the car using a center jack point just to change a tire. Are there not other off-center jack points that are safe? This is important.
Just to change a tire I have lifted the car with a floor jack and a hockey puck on the pinch weld. If you had to use the jack in the trunk to change the tire it would only work on the pinch welds.
I use the center point when I lift the front for an oil change as it evenly raise the whole front of the car.
I've always lifted my vehicles from the front/rear to change a tire unless I got a flat on the side of the road... that's only time the car is lifted at a corner. It's much easier/safer to lift the front end up and place jack stands than to lift one corner at a time in my opinion. Plus you aren't putting undue stress by having the car not being lifted evenly.
I'm lucky enough to have a lift in my garage so I normally lift the entire car, but if I don't want to use that then the center portion or the rear portion of the car is how I'd manually lift it and then place jack two jack stand accordingly...etc.
with a standard length handle I have to pump the floor jack up from underneath the car and then place the jack stands. If I lift the car only on one side or the other I don't have to get under the car. I need to exchange the tires front to back on one side at a time and do not have two floor jacks.

Definitely been there. Gotta look at a jack like this:
I bought this same one years ago. Had to since my STi is lowered. Then our mercedes is lowered...etc. Without something like this and before my lift I'd never be able to lift the cars up.
It actually does a pretty high lift as well.
Something to think about but for any lowered vehicle the above is a must.
