Default Invidia Exhaust Question - POSSIBLE CEL?

Hi everyone,

I am considering installing the Invidia Cat back exhaust to my 2020 RCF. I read online that some people have got a CEL after installing the cat back and were unable to clear it? Can anyone that has this exhaust let me know if they ran into this or if its just untrue?

I am open to other exhaust options in the 2k range with burnt tips as well if you want to recommend one. Also, open to exhaust sound clips of your RCF too!

Thanks in advance!

This has been discussed to death and many many threads on it. You can do a search for RCF exhaust on this forum and you will find many. As a matter of fact, there is one thread just below. Long story short, the installation is done incorrectly in all cases where they swap the front and rear supplied gaskets because of a very small difference in size, which causes exhaust leak. Also, disconnecting the O2 sensor also requires care.

In short, many of us who had the installation done correctly never had any issues. Mine has been on for 3+ years and zero issues. Still very happy with the sound and power gains

Awesome! Thanks so much, I will definitely be purchasing and installing now!

How does this do on the freeway when your cruising at 80MPH? Is there a lot of drone?

Zero drone. I wrote a details review when I had it installed. You can read my detailed impressions

Thanks again, one other stupid question -- where did you purchase yours from? I saw it available on Amazon -- not sure if I should buy it from there.

Because I am located outside US, I purchased it from a local online vendor to save on duties and conversion rate etc. You can PM Josh at @Meraki Autoworks , which is a vendor company here and he can try to work out a deal with you.
